The Pantone Color Institute has announced that the “vibrant, yet mellow” Pantone 16-1546 Living Coral is its “Color of the Year.” According to Pantone, Living Coral “embraces us with warmth and nourishment to provide comfort and buoyancy in our continually shifting environment.”  The Pantone Color Institute is the business unit within Pantone that highlights top seasonal runway colors, forecasts global color trends, and advises companies on color for product and brand visual identity. Now in its 20th year, Pantone’s Color of the Year has influenced product development and purchasing decisions in multiple industries, including labels and packaging, fashion, home furnishings, and industrial, graphic and product design.
